Possible Idea: Point source reflection blocking...
There were some interesting shadows on my TV screen from the christmas tree lights. They were interesting because, at a distance of 12 feet or so, looking at the TV at an obtuse angle, the shadow pattern on the screen was completely different for each eye. Idea: Audio file for one time pad.
Using a popular audio file from the web, you could have an effective one time pad by encoding your data by referencing time positions in the file. Since most mp3’s are 16 bit, you could encode multiple bytes into each position, giving a 2x compression.
Of course, the person you were talking to would have to know the “key” song.
Idea: Remote control fish toy
It would be a fish that flops around, but goes in the direction you tell it. It would come with a “jump” button, where it would flop up into the air a little…somewhat randomly.
Would be an interesting control problem. Ideally, it would flop around all random like, as soon as it touched the ground, while moving in the direction that you’d want it to.
